DEEP (Direct Exploratory Entensified Processing)
Within the flat, open-source, lateral lattice of subtext matrices—the rhizome—there is no depth dimension: there is no inside or outside, there is no up or down, there is not even a right or a left. Because most people’s attention is generally devoted to User Interface and not on the code that produces our U.I., it often appears that we are in a world of depth. At least, so says the boy with his finger deep inside the leaking dyke. However, we are here to say, do not be deceived by U.I.
DEEP does not refer to a depth dimension. DEEP rather refers to entensification. Entensification is very similar to intensification. Entensification, however, importantly does not privilege the inside in the way that intensification does.
Entensification is a phase transition brought on by stimulated, charged, accelerated, repeated motion that creates flow. Entensification has built into it an expectation of satisfied climax and then rest or resolve that acts as a lure. Entensification occurs independently of climax and resolve—it occurs because of the ventured hope in those coming outcomes rather than in the outcomes themselves. —Atro Nöteē
