MMHTT is a language construction that organizes across its component field in a lateral manner. This is what makes MMHTT a rhizome.
A component is any element—structural or conceptual—within MMHTT. All components within MMHTT are potentially combinable with any other components, and when combined they form horizontal assemblages.
In the rare and risky instance when a set of MMHTT components contain a vertical dimension (i.e., when one component builds vertically on another), it is specifically in order to establish a central node. Most central nodes in the MMHTT project are momentary, temporary, and simply act as an energy resource to all other assemblages.
The use of numbers on all MMHTT web pages—including the macro numbers (1.Begin 2.ART etc)— are there to provide structural/spatial information to the Reader but are not meant to instruct the Reader on the order the Reader should move through MMHTT components. As previously stated, the Reader should move through MMHTT in whatever order and way they see fit.
The number system operates like this: when numbers repeat (2. 2. or 2a. 2a.) one should read the related text as different articulations of the same concept. When numbers are in sequence (1. 2. 3.) they are distinct concepts that can be traded out for, or combined with, other numbered concepts. When the items are sequenced within a number (2a. 2b. 2c.) they are concepts that momentarily build vertically on one another, forming a central node. —MMHTT
