This project is not to be trusted. Any vertical dimension found in a rhizome should be approached with extreme suspicion and caution. Are the A.N.s found here truly meant to be “helping hands”? Not likely.
A hand offered in help can turn out to be a hand that misleads – a hand that shoves or a hand that throttles you in your sleep – and that’s especially true of a no-skin-in-the-game "helping hand" from (a vertical) above. Sounds oftly dubious to me!
In life, when verticality is the problem, more verticality is never the solution. No matter how seductive and alluring that verticality might be.
A wolf in sheep’s clothing is most deadly not because it looks like a sheep (it most certainly does not). Rather it is deadly precisely because of how seductively comforting the verticality of this wolf’s wool-rimmed gullet appears to be. However, positioned at the entrance of the long vertical descent of this wolf’s sinister throat, hidden by the soft sheep’s wool, are its claws and fangs that rip and tear.
Sweet Reader, heed this warning: the verticality of these so-called A.N.s should not be trusted. —Author Note
