In ages past, the manifesto was the preferred form for strong men to communicate vital and revolutionary ideas. The overarching problem with the manifesto as a form, however, was that as it sought to radicalize and mobilize a population, it did so with vertical domination tactics that shortsightedly essentialized the problems it was organizing against and harmfully totalized the action strategies this organized population was tasked to perform. The manifesto was a form that only pressed from above without any room for the open-ended release so necessary for creativity and multiplicity. In this way, the totalitarian programming of the manifesto was not life-giving. It was death-dealing.
Here at this time, at the very end of the world just before the blessed new age of ART, a new form has emerged as a product of MMHTT. This new form is generative and life-giving because it mimics natural dynamic systems: the ebb and flow of the tides, the periodicity of the seasons, the inhalation and exhalation of breath. This is a new form that both presses and releases. Now, at the turn of this blessed new age, we must mobilize a new form to meet new age demands. The old age of the manifesto has passed away, behold a new form has come. The story of this blessed new age will be told through what we at MMHTT call the PRESS.release. —Authro Noté and Snauthor Snote
