5a. DEEP epistemE begins with a gentle caressing of the inquirer's object of inquiry with the hope of winning the object's consent to being known. Once that consent is given, the inquirer quickly transitions to a headlong plunge, moving in and out of the inquirer's object of inquiry, faster and deeper each time, entensifying with each iterative plunge. Finally the inquirer plunges so deep, they find themselves in the sacred place of indwelling (embedded utterly within the object) which then initiates the sacred activity of in-feasting (a consumption (knowing) of the object’s insides). To the astute DEEP epistemE inquirer however, they will realize that this deepest-plunge knowing—this indwelled in-feasting— is also simultaneously happening to them perpetrated by the know-ee. Penetration? Reciprocal interpenetration.
